Pass Plus courses from only £40!
Just passed your test?
New drivers are the most vulnerable and at a greater risk of having an accident in their first 2 years of driving.
The Pass Plus course is designed for new drivers, to help develop your skills and knowledge, and to help you become a more confident driver.
The Pass Plus course consists of 6 modules:
-
-

-
How is the course carried out?
The Pass Plus course is normally delivered over 6 hours, although
this may be more if your instructor feels it necessary. Instruction
will be carried out mostly in car, with some theoretical training
given if appropriate. The Pass Plus course is assessed and
recorded on a training report form. Although you cannot fail the
Pass Plus course, all aspects of each module must reach at least an
‘achieved’ standard, but great driving will be marked as ‘exceeded’.
After the course, the training report form will be sent away, and
you will receive a certificate through the post to confirm your completion of the course.
What benefits will the course give me?
The Pass Plus course is an invaluable learning tool to make you a better, more considerate driver. You may also benefit from a discount in your insurance premiums. This is dependent on your personal circumstances, your car, and your chosen insurance company.
How much does it cost?
The Pass Plus course is £130, although local council schemes often subsidise the cost of training. At present Staffordshire county council offers a discount of £70 (which means you pay just £60), and the Staffordshire Moorlands area benefits from £90 (which means you pay just £40). To receive this discount you must attend a council run workshop which lasts just 2 hours. Please contact us for further information on these schemes.
